The steps in the process are:

 

Search by individual grantor

Enter the name and date of birth of the individual grantor to search the PPS Register for any registrations over the grantor's personal property. It requires the exact spelling of an individual's name.

The grantor details entered must be in accordance with the grantor identification rules in the PPS Regulations. Otherwise there is a risk that registrations against the grantor will not be found.

This search option allows you to filter search results according to collateral class.


Enter the given name(s) exactly as it appears on the relevant source document required under the grantor identification rules in the PPS Regulations up to a maximum of 80 characters. This field is case insensitive. The exact spelling of an individual's name is required.



Enter the family name exactly as it appears on the relevant source document required under the grantor identification rules in the PPS Regulations (for example, driver's licence, passport) up to a maximum number of 40 characters. This field is case insensitive. The exact spelling of an individual's name is required.



Enter the date of birth recorded on the relevant source document required under the grantor identification rules in the PPS Regulations.

If you are searching for a registration previously recorded on a transitional register, the grantor details searched for should be the same as those recorded on the transitional register.
