Ordinal search

This search allows users to determine the order of any two specified registration events. A registration event is something that has a change number allocated to it or is a registration end date.

An ordinal search can be used to determine, for example:

  • which registration was created first
  • if one registration was created before the other one expired
  • if one registration was changed before the other one expired
  • if one registration was changed before the other one was changed.

The searcher must enter two PPSR registration numbers. The registration number is the unique number allocated by the PPSR when a financing statement is registered on PPSR.

Use of the PPSR is subject to the PPS Register General Conditions of Use, applicable Third Party Data Conditions and the appropriate fees.
